2005
CYRA offers a scholarship program for the graduating Seniors going on to

2004
The CYRA scholarship program was started in 2004 to help the Graduating Senior
members with funding for College. Two $250.00 scholarships were set up. These 2
scholarships were funded from the 1/2 & 1/2 ticket sales from each rodeo. After
the $500.00 was met, the remainder of the 1/2 & 1/2 sales went towards awards.
To Qualify for the Scholarship, members had to fill out application & complete a
200 word or more essay on plans and goals for their future, be a graduating
senior-(produce a diploma), a CYRA member in good standings, & must have entered
1/3rd of the CYRA rodeo's. In 2004 there were 4 applicants. Two were chosen to
receive the $250.00 scholarships. We were able to have 2 more applicants receive
the same amount of scholarship when a family donated another $500.00 at the
awards banquet.
