If anyone is interested in the 2009 CYRA QUEEN, PRINCESS or LITTLE MISS pageant, plese contact the 2008 CYRA QUEEN Ali McKiearnan or Pageant Coordinator Reva Waters!  No enteries on answering machine please! Due to the rising cost of operations, starting at the June 7 and 8, 2008 rodeo, each entry will have a $2.00 surcharge added, for the rest of the 2008 season.

Princess - Jessica Abendroth

Hi, my name is Jessica Rose Abendroth. I am from Carbondale Kansas and I proudly reign as the 2008 Christian Youth Rodeo Association Princess. I am the daughter of Jared & Michelle Abendroth and big sister to Samantha. My sister Sam also participates in the CYRA. I am in 6th Grade at Carbondale Attendance Center, and LOVING IT!  At the youth rodeos I participate in Barrels, Poles, and Goat Tying. My rodeo accomplishments include winning a Pee Wee Goat Tying Buckle in 2006, 2 All Around Buckles - 2006, 2 All Around Titles in 4H (2005/2006), and Several barrel racing buckles over the past 3 years. When I'm not in the arena at a rodeo, my primary focus is school! That's right, I said it, SCHOOL!  I am a proud straight A student and my favorite subjects are Reading and Math.  I also play Volleyball and love track!  I am excited to represent CYRA this coming year and hope to be a positive role model in a sport that builds character like no other; RODEO!  I hope to see you there!
